Join us for a morning celebrating the magic of reading and community!
Our Junior School Book Week is a beloved tradition where stories come alive, imaginations soar, and our young readers shine. Parents, grandparents, and friends are warmly invited to join us for a relaxed, joyful morning.
SCHEDULE
8:30–9:15 AM | Welcome & Browse
Arrive for light refreshments in the Jan Milburn Room. Take time to explore the Junior School Book Fair in the library, where you'll discover new reads, classics, and plenty of opportunities to support independent bookselling and our students' love of reading.
9:30–10:00 AM | Book Parade & Special Reading
Our students take centre stage in a vibrant Book Parade at the Jan Milburn Room, dressed as beloved book and story characters. This is where imagination meets celebration.
Following the parade, our Principal and Mrs Van Genderen will share a special reading of a shortlisted story—a magical moment that reminds us all why reading matters.
10:00 AM | Conclusion
Wind down with fellow families, chat, and create memories.
