Saddle Up for Station Life!
Get ready for an intensive 5-day training and orientation course plus practical information on remote travel, data capture/recording, biosecurity, helicopter safety, station etiquette and essential equipment. Full training includes meals for 5 days, accommodation for 4 nights (with the option for Accommodation from Sunday as boarding houses will open from Sunday night to Saturday morning), and a Certificate of Completion.

Do I need prior experience on a horse or motor bike?
No, the course caters for all experience levels however- any prior exposure to horses or motorbikes will be beneficial.
What do I need to bring?
As most of the modules will be outside, a broad-brimmed hat, jeans suitable for riding and long sleeve shirts are required.
If you own an approved Australia standard riding or bike helmet you’re welcome to bring that along. Helmets for both horses and bikes will be provided. Additionally, all horse tack will be provided.
CPR certification and NEGS Certificate of completion in Horse, motorbike and cattle working skills. What qualifications will I receive?
